Pam Ackley was born and raised in New York City.

Pam Ackley is a classically trained representational artist in the academic tradition of the Florence Academy of Art with a focus on portraiture and figure

2006-2014, studied still life painting with Kirill Doron 

2007- 2017- independent study/ mentorship in painting and drawing with Jesus Emmanuel Villarreal of Florence Academy 

2013-2015- independent study in painting and drawing with Hege Elizabeth Haugen of Florence Academy

2017/ 5 month independent study in academic cast drawing / Leo Mancini-Hresko of Florence Academy 

 
Pam Ackley is an elected member of the Silvermine Guild of Art
and  Connecticut Women’s Artists
2010- Present /co-founder, model coordinator and manager for the New Street Guild of Artists in Bridgeport, CT
Pam also co-founded North Light Studio in Bridgeport, CT where she works independently and offers informal instruction. 

 

Pam has had several solo and group shows in Connecticut including Wilton, Greenwich, Norwalk, Stamford, Darien, Ridgefield and New Canaan.

Her work is in numerous private collections.

Pam Ackley is represented by the Silvermine Art Guild in New Canaan and

the Geary Gallery in Darien.
